Normally, I power the freezer with a 12-volt power point, but the circuit shuts off once the vehicle is turned off. I needed something to provide power when my vehicle was off. The power supplied is exactly the same as the amperage provided by the 12-volt power point. I’m also impressed by the number of hours I get out of this power pack—it will power my freezer for around 5 hours. Additionally, the pass-through capability is a nice feature, allowing you to use the power source while it’s charging. I’m very pleased with this purchase.
